Understanding Your Employment Rights: Salary, Benefits and Safety

This workshop will provide you important information from the Ontario Employment Standards Act. Understand what employers are allowed to do and NOT TO DO with wages, hours of work, overtime and safety. Understand the money taken off (deductions) from your pay cheque. Find out what kind of legal contract the employer must provide when they hire you. This workshop makes sure no employer can take advantage of you because you are a new immigrant.
There will also be a Q&A, to try to answer as many questions as the time will allow.
