Mini-School for Yazidi Refugees

There are two major components of this program:
- For adult women in the Yazidi refugee community: Eash session of this program will consist of an “English class” to practice conversational skills and develop literacy skills, a “math class” to develop numeracy skills and practice scheduling and budgeting, and an art therapy session.
- For school aged children in the Yazidi refugee community: Each session of this program will consist of school support (homework help and reading skills), crafts, games, and sports.
The program will be facilitated by JIAS staff, professional educators, therapists, and community youth leaders providing childcare.
