Support Group for Jewish parents of Teens
March 30 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pmFree
This program is a support group for newcomer Jewish parents who have teenagers. The goal of this program is to give you the skills you may need to be more confident as a parent and help your children thrive, and to provide an environment for you to connect and share with other parents.
This program will include 5 sessions on zoom, which are 1.5 hours each. In every meeting, we will have psychoeducational information, and discussions about managing adolescent behaviours and emotions, building confidence and boundaries, and managing burnout, among other topics. In every session, there will be a chance for you to ask questions and discuss your experiences with each other.
The sessions will be led by Jenny Shigorina, a counsellor and child-parent relationship specialist. Space is limited. Please register here for this program series if you are available for these 5 sessions.
